The COST Action CA21128 PROBONO is pleased to announce a call for two type of Grants available to Action members for participating in third-party conferences. The Young Researcher and Innovator Grant and the Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) Conference Grant. Deadline of applications: 31st January 2026.

The 18th Kudowa Summer School “Towards Fusion Energy” is co-organized by the the Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion in Poland and the COST Action PROBONO. The event will take place in Kudowa-Zdrój, Poland, from 8th to 12th June 2026 and will cover a variety of topics interesting for all students involved in plasma physics research.  kudowaschool.ipplm.pl 

The new Grant Period for the COST ACTION PROBONO - CA21128 has already started and the invitation for new STSM applications is openThe Action intend to support many young researchers from Inclusiveness Target Countries as well as other researchers to carry out Short-Term Scientific Mission abroad on objectives linked to that of the PROBONO Action.

Applications for the STSM within the 3rd Grant Period are closed. The available budget has been allocated to the applications that have already been submitted and evaluated.

An announcement will be made when the budget for the new Grant Period (November 2025) is available.

The applications for the 2nd Intensive School in Laser, Plasma & Fusion are extneded until 4th of May 2025.
The school will be held in Budva of Montenegro from the 22nd to 25th of September 2025 and is co-organized by the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Montenegro and the COST Action PROBONO (PROton BOron Nuclear fusion: from energy production to medical applicatiOns).
