The 1st workshop on High Power Lasers and their applications (HPLA2024) is organized with the specific intention of explaining how the laser that will be installed at the Southern National Laboratories of the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN-LNS) in Catania, (IT) will be structured and what are its potentials in the field of facility I-LUCE (INFN-Laser indUCEd radiation production), both on the front of radiation production and in that of basic physics and high energy.
All interventions will be very educational, just to allow the participation of everyone (technicians, administrators and technologists/researchers).
