The XIII International Geant4 School, organised joinly by INFN and ELI Beamlines, in collaboration with COST Action PROBONO, will take place from 27 to 31 July 2026 at the ELI Beamlines in Dolní Břežany, close to Prague in Czehia (CZ). https://indico.eli-laser.eu/event/231/
The school is aimed at PhD students, post-docs, and young researchers working at universities or research institutes. It offers a mixture of theoretical lectures and pratical hands-on sessions in the use of Geant4 Monte Carlo simulation toolki, covering from basic installation through advanced topics and will be interspersed with examples that build a progressively more complex applications, incuding laser-plasma enviroment.
Simulation tools like Geant4 are crucial for modelling radiation transport, detector response, and experimental setups, all of which are highly relevant to the objectives of the COST Action PROBONO. We encourage our members—especially early-stage researchers—to engage with training opportunities such as this school to strengthen their computational and research skills.
