Extended deadline, 28th of May! The XXII Seminar on Software for Nuclear, Subnuclear and Applied Physics and official Geant4 School (https://agenda.infn.it/event/44438/overview), is organized by INFN in collaboration with COST Action PROBONO, 8th-13th June 2025 in Alghero (Sardinia, Italy). The Action PROBONO will support participation of a few students in the school. See below how to apply!
The Seminar is aimed at PhD students and researchers, interested in software and its applications.
It is structured in topical didactic units, lectures and practical sessions on the recent software developed for fundamental physics as well as for applied physics.
A beginner course on the Geant4 Monte Carlo toolkit is organized within the Seminar,
featuring lessons and practical exercises given by Geant4 Collaborators.
The Seminar will also include a course on the use of Machine Learning techniques.
In addition, for interested people, a test examination will be performed at the end of the school
and a written certificate with grade will be issued.
Registration is open until May 28th, 2025 (deadline for early registration is May 10th)
