is looking for internship on
Analysis of alpha-particles tracks using CR-39 from laser-driven proton Boron experiments
(IN_34_2024)

What are you going to do?:
• Learn more about proton Boron nuclear reaction.
• Learn the theory on the application of the CR-39 nuclear track detectors on the detection of protons and alpha particles.
• Get familiar with the calibration procedure of the detectors and their treatment.
• Utilize MATLAB or Python programming languages for the analysis of microscope pictures of CR-39 detector tracks.
• Perform analysis of real samples from laser-driven experiments.


Requirements:
• University student of physics or engineering department from a foreigner University/Institute (outside the Czech Republic).
• Knowledge of MATLAB or Python.
• English communication skills.

 

Internship´s duration:
• Up to 4 weeks
• Start is possible either on the 1st or 15th of the month.
